Wilder Nicholson is a freelance filmmaker and documentary storyteller based in Brunswick, Maine. A Conservation Media Group Film Fellow from 2016-2019, Wilder collaborates with non-profits committed to strengthening communities’ stewardship of the environment. His films have featured on Maine Calling, premiered at Thailand’s Annual Isaan Human Rights Festival, and currently screen in sustainable tourism workshops in India. First pursuing Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College, Wilder turned to filmmaking to explore and inspire sustainable relationship with the natural world–later studying at Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at Maine College of Art in 2018 and 2019.
